Organizer Terms

These terms apply when you create an organizer space on Podnight or run events with one, alongside the general Terms of Use.

Who can organize

• Organizer owners must be 18 or older. You'll hold attendee contacts and may run paid events.
• You're responsible for what your team does with your space. Give door staff the Door only role when they don't need contacts.

Your events

• Describe events honestly: time, place, cost, format and age limit.
• Set the age limit your venue requires (for example 21+ at a bar) and check ID at the door where the law or venue requires it.
• You're responsible for your events and venues, including permissions, safety and following local laws.
• For private venues like a home, keep events Link only and share the address only with people who join. Podnight does this by default.

Money

Podnight doesn't process payments. Any cover you set is collected by you, directly, and you handle refunds and any taxes.

Attendee data

• Use attendee information only to run your events and to contact people about events they joined.
• Market only to people who opted in to your emails. That's what the People export includes. Include an unsubscribe option and honor it.
• Don't sell or share attendee data, and keep any exports secure. Delete them when you no longer need them.
• Survey feedback is anonymous. Don't try to identify who said what.

Your brand

You can add your own name, logo, colors and banner. Only use images and names you have the right to use. Don't use Wizards of the Coast logos or official Magic mana symbols.

Ending

You can close your space by emailing us. We may suspend spaces that break these terms or put attendees at risk. Players keep their own accounts and history either way.
