Terms of Use

Podnight (podnight.app) helps people find and play in-person game nights. These terms cover everyone who uses it. By creating an account or joining an event, you agree to them.

Who can use Podnight

• You must be 13 or older.
• Some events set a higher minimum age (18+ or 21+, for example at a bar). When you join, you confirm you meet it, and the organizer or venue may check ID at the door.
• One account per person. You sign in with a code sent to your email, so keep your email account secure.

Events are run by organizers

Organizers (friend groups, clubs, leagues and stores) create and run their own events. They set the time, place, rules, age limit and any cover charge, and they're responsible for their events and venues. Podnight provides the tools but doesn't run, supervise or insure events. Use good judgment when meeting people in person, especially at private venues like someone's home.

Money

No money moves through Podnight. If an event has a cover, you pay the organizer directly (for example cash or Venmo) under their terms. Refunds are between you and the organizer.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you add, like your name, decklists and survey answers. You let us store and show it as needed to run Podnight: for example, showing your name to others at events you join, and your decks as the event's decklist setting allows.

Be decent

• Don't harass anyone, impersonate anyone, or report false results.
• Don't misuse the service: no scraping, spamming, breaking in, or getting around limits or age requirements.
• Organizers can remove you from their events, and we can suspend accounts that break these terms.

Card data and trademarks

Card data and images come from Scryfall and are always free on Podnight. Podnight is unofficial Fan Content and isn't approved or endorsed by, or affiliated with, Wizards of the Coast. Magic: The Gathering is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast LLC.

No warranty

Podnight is provided as is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it or from events you attend.

Leaving and changes

You can download your data or delete your account at any time from your profile. If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app or by email.
